Manual unit for shortening/gapping metal zippers, coupled chain

For metal zippers only.
Electric gapping unit, simple and reliable.
It removes the teeth from the not-coupled metal chain without damaging the tape, with good and quick results.
The unit is composed of the electric press HPPRE-1200 (electric press + EWG electric panel) and of one gapping tool for metal zipper UCS+CSS*.
The gapping tool is interchangeable, and, in few seconds, you can switch the unit from gapping one size of zippers to another one or to the tools for gapping coupled chain.
Available gapping units for any size of zippers: 4, 6 or 8 mm.
Every unit is specially set on the samples of the customer zipper: it is therefore necessary to receive yours.
Cutting blades can be 22 (BL/20), 30 (BL/30) or 40 (BL/40) mm. long: accordingly to the required gapping lenght. The most used are the BL/20 (needing less worker effort): with these blades you can anyway perform two, or more, contiguous operations for obtaining longer gaps.
This unit is suitable for continuous and intensive working and it is controlled by pedal or push-button.
For a more efficient use of the unit we recommend the measuring devices MU-05 and MU-1, sold separately.
